- I am a yankee that ended up in texas. WHY you ask? I HAVE NO IDEA! MY SAYING IS "I wasn't born in Texas, but I got here as soon as I knew TEXAS could handle ME." My husband and I foster dogs for a rescue group, check them out at catahoularescue.org You don't have to FOSTER or ADOPT TO HELP...there are many other things you can do! We have a collecton of horses, Paints and Quarters,and 2 OTTBs. I love taking photos, it's my 'me' time.
